Lost Resources: Discarding them wastes valuable materials like cobalt, copper, lithium, and nickel.
To give customers a convenient and compliant option for disposal, they joined Monarch Waste Co.’s Disposable Vape Pen Takeback Program.
Monarch installed a collection kiosk at Cookies Downtown's St. Louis location, where customers can drop off their used AIO vape pens. From there, Monarch handles the pickups and recycles lithium-ion batteries with local certified R-2 recyclers. This allows the dispensary to focus on its daily operations while helping keep the community safer.
