CAMP Cannabis, founded in 2018, is a women-founded and independently owned craft cannabis brand. Their mission is to bring people together with small-batch cannabis that’s cultivated with care and priced with integrity. Built From a Desire To Help People
Before the launch of CAMP (Certified Alternative Medicine Providers), Co-Founder and COO Jennifer McGuire was an Operating Room Charge Nurse. She witnessed firsthand the impact of chronic pain and addiction, and the limitations of traditional pharmaceuticals.
CAMP was built with people in mind. Jennifer helps patients, especially those struggling with opioids, transition to cannabis. She believes in a ripple effect: when someone finds healing, it impacts families, communities, and generations to come.
That people-first mindset shaped the company Jennifer envisioned: one where every team member could feel safe, respected, and valued. In 5,000 sq. ft. of canopy space, the team takes a hands-on approach to every plant. Jennifer says the way that they’ve set up the grow is like an operating room, where the team wears scrubs, hats, dedicated shoes, and PPE.
Dedicated to Responsible Operations
CAMP Cannabis has trusted Monarch Waste Co. with its cannabis waste management needs since 2021. McGuire notes that she takes pride in working with a company that is not only efficient but also prioritizes being environmentally friendly.
At each pickup, Monarch’s team arrives with a box truck. They transfer the waste in CAMP’s blue drums to their industrial shredder, and the waste is rendered on-site. A job is usually completed in an hour or two.
